Our Board has proudly chosen to support the following charitable organizations for 2023-2024. Money raised through our fundraising efforts will be distributed to these organizations at the close of our year.  One-half of our funds will go to the President's Choice,  The other half will be equally divided and distributed to the Board's selections.  A brief description of each organization follows:

President’s Pick

Help for Kids/Backpack Buddies:

Mission: Help for Kids provides food for hungry children of Horry County who through no fault of their own do not have enough to eat on a daily basis. Backpack Buddies provides food on the weekends. Teachers and school administrators identify the children in need. They also provide backpacks filled with school supplies when school starts, and a week’s worth of clothing and a pair of shoes as needed. They are now making and delivering almost 3,000 food packs per week!

Meals on Wheels of Horry & Georgetown Counties, Inc.:

Mission: To provide nutritious home delivered meals, as well as compassion, hope, assistance, fellowship, and the love of Jesus to those who are or have family that is classified homebound, elderly, and terminally ill in Horry and Georgetown Counties. Their vision is to “Deliver God’s Love One Meal at a Time” in order to transform the lives of those we serve by sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, focusing on the whole being, upholding the sanctity of life, and dealing with their current nutritional needs.
